If there's one brand that knows a thing or two about collabs, it's Moncler: the luxe outerwear label has had serious wins with their Genius collection, having enlisted designers like JW Anderson, Pierpaolo Piccioli of Valentino, and Simone Rocha to create some wildly memorable looks. So when they announced their partnership with Adidas Originals, we knew we had to do something special with the collection. We sent artist Fumiko Imano, her “doppelgänger,” and her stylist friend Spencer Singer to Iceland, where the duo doubled down on colorful puffers, track jackets and vests that epitomize the intersection of the two brand identities. Signature Moncler shapes in iconic lacquered nylon are reimagined through Adidas Originals details, and a mix of bold colors recall traffic lights in greens, oranges, and reds. Puffed-up sneakers and boots in yellow amp up the collab statement—making this the dynamic duo to beat this season.
