Since the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood of Greater NY has seen increased abortion appointments by 20% at their 23 health centers across New York State. By needing to meet demand, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York strives to maximize care resources for New Yorkers as well as people traveling to NY from other states to seek compassionate, nonjudgmental abortion services.
Executive Producer Ariella Starkman and Creative Director Jen Brill have teamed up to unveil a calendar consisting of 12 images from artists including: Fumiko Imano, Maggie Lee, Catherine Opie, Farah Al Qasimi, Louise Bourgeois, Janiva Ellis, Ana Mendieta, Jenny Holzer, Lauren Greenfield, LaKela Brown, Faith Ringgold, Marilyn Minter, and a forward by Paloma Elsesser. 100% of proceeds from the calendar sales will go to Planned Parenthood and its services.
The 'No Trespassing' 2023 Calendar is available for purchase online, and at Iconic Magazine in NY & Arcana Books in LA. The calendar is a collection of efforts from like-minded individuals who believe in the fundamental right to choose. Edition of 500.
